The moat of the Tower of London was decorated with 10,000 torches during 8 days (from 04/11/2018 to 11/11/2018) to commemorate the end of the First World War.

The flames, each emanating from an individual canister, will burn for about four hours before needing to be replenished with fuel by volunteers before the next night’s display.
Each flower representing a life lost by a soldier from Britain or its colonies.
