Located in District 1, CityOasis is a serviced apartment oasis with full service, ground swimming pool, and a private garden terrace that is full of sunlit and covered with tropical plants. The project’s specialty presents in a vibrancy of nature with the smooth curvatures, the green balconies, the concrete & tone materials, and the organic lines.
In close collaboration with the client and the architect, kobi team had developed a lighting strategy for the project that provides a serene & an amazing experience, where residents can wallow themselves in Nature.
To reveal the distinct architecture while still upholding the resident’s comfort and privacy, the lighting is designed to connect indoor and outdoor spaces in a flexible and functional manner. The apartment is lit up regarding a circadian rhythm scheme, where the lighting takes the major mission to enlarge the feeling of space, preserve the residents’ serenity and get them to reconnect with Nature. Instead of illumining the whole landscape, only the large tropical plants and water elements are highlighted to prevent the effects of overexposing and dazzling for the project.
The kobi team was strategic in the placement of these lighting fixtures so that they would be visible to residents, while not intrusive for the neighborhood.
Furthermore, welcoming lights installed on the outdoor fence and soft lights applied for the pathways leading to an intimate entrance. The lighting facade is integrated smoothly to the organic architecture and the tree lines, where the lighting’s brightness is well-adjusted in such selected areas to keep the residents’ personal space. That’s when light brings comfort and security for its daily journey.
