Avenue of Honor by Artist Bruce Munro

Field of Light – name of the lighting installation, is immersive art installation by Artist Bruce Munro. The artist was gently illuminating the Avenue of Honor at Mt Clarence, in homage to the Anzacs who departed from Albany for the Great War.

To make the installation, 16, 000 glass spheres were made and installed to reference the national flowers of Australia and New Zealand, honoring 100 years since the First World War’s end and celebrating Albany’s unique biodiversity.
