Foil Installation
Created by a British designer Benjamin Hubert, Foil is a 20-meter-long kinetic sculpture running down the London museum’s elongated tapestry room.
The installation is composed of 50,000 mirror-finish stainless steel panels, the 20-meter long exhibit located in the V&A’s tapestry gallery, moves in a constant sine-wave motion thanks to its high power motor.
As the panels move, LED light reflects off the surface to create a slowly morphing pattern on the walls and the ceiling.
