Franchise Freedom

Franchise Freedom, the flying sculpture performed by hundreds of drones, created by Studio Drift Burning Man.

The performance was a tribute to visionary Larry Harvey, founder of Burning Man. With Franchise Freedom, Studio Drift wants to “visualize the illusion of freedom, how we, as humans, strive to live autonomously within societies defined by rules and conventions”.
